  • 2001

    Warren Hosseinion, M.D., (current Chief Executive Officer and Director) and Adrian Vazquez, M.D., (current Chief Medical Officer) founded ApolloMed Hospitalists, the predecessor company, to deliver management services to medical groups that provide comprehensive hospital-based medical services.
  • 2008

    Apollo Medical Holdings, Inc. (ApolloMed) completed a reorganization and became a publicly traded company under the ticker “AMEH” allowing it to operate as a Physician Practice Management Company.
  • 2011

    ApolloMed purchased Pulmonary Critical Care Management, Inc., a provider of management services to the Los Angeles Lung Center, and formed a pulmonary critical care division.
  • 2012

    ApolloMed formed its subsidiary ApolloMed ACO, which was selected by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to participate as an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) under the Affordable Care Act.
  • 2013

    ApolloMed launched Maverick Medical Group, an Independent Physician Association (IPA), serving Medicare, Dual Eligible, Commercial and Medi-Cal patients residing in the Greater Los Angeles area.
  • 2014

    ApolloMed and Fresenius Medical Care enter into a strategic relationship.
  • 2014

    ApolloMed launched ApolloMed Care Clinics to serve as primary care medicine and post-discharge centers of excellence. ApolloMed acquired three clinics and is opening a de novo clinic in the Los Angeles area.
